Lloyd and Doug Rawlings are second generation racers. There Father Cal Rawlings got it all started racing with basil Westfall at the now closed Windsor Speedway. They had a 1932 Ford Coupe wich they raced on the 1/3 dirt track with great success. Cal didn't forget about his two sons though, he took them right along to the track with him and let them help out where ever they could. They learned all about the racing world and have put their learning experience to good use. They have been around some sort of racing ever since.
When Checker Flag Speedway closed the boys were forced to travel down the road to Delaware Speedway to continue there love of the sport. In 1993 and 1995 Rawlings Motorsports captured the Open Wheel Modified points championship. Lloyd and Doug to this day still have the love for the sport and are still traveling the highway to race their modified
